Has Skills landed himself a spot on "One Tree Hill"'s top villains list? The New York Post reports that Antwon Tanner, the man behind upstanding Ravens coach Antwon Taylor (we know. Quite a stretch there), surrendered himself to federal prosecutors in New York yesterday under suspicion of Social Security fraud.
Authorities told the Post that the 34-year-old actor is accused of "knowingly and intentionally" selling Social Security cards and numbers "with intent to defraud."
Today, the Associated Press reports that Antwon pleaded not guilty to the charges, which carry a punishment of up to five years in prison. THAT would make it pretty hard for him to continue in his role of loveable sidekick Skills on "One Tree Hill."
We here at SOAPnet are all about innocent until proven guilty, but ... perhaps Fergie and Junk should get their game faces on, just in case. Someone's got to be the weird nickname guy who's been around since high school, and if Skills can't do it, we're looking at those two to step up.
