You've played that Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game with your friends, right? Where you link any actor to Kevin Bacon via a chain of people they've worked with? Like, Pamela Anderson was in "Borat" with Sacha Baron Cohen, who was in "Sweeney Todd" with Helena Bonham Carter," who was in "Fight Club" with Brad Pitt, who was in "Sleepers" with Kevin Bacon. We love that kind of thing.
But we got to thinking, why should Kevin Bacon have all the fun? Why can't our favorite daytime stars wind their way to ANY major movie star in six steps or less? So that's what we're going to do; this week's subject is "The Young and the Restless" star Thad Luckinbill.
Thad is a major hot hottie in Genoa City, and his character, J.T. moved up the ladder from "teen heartthrob" to "serious romantic lead" when he hooked up with major player Victoria Newman. Plus, he has great hair, he can sing, and he needs to be featured on that show WAY more than he is. Similarly, Daniel Craig is a major hot hottie who moved up the ladder from British sidekick or villain to serious lead actor when he scored the coveted role of James Bond. He also has great hair and needs to be in way more movies than he's currently in (no word on whether he can sing, though). One movie he IS in is the World War II action drama "Defiance," opening this weekend.
