Remember the old "People's Court" with Judge Wapner? How at the end of every episode, the interviewer would tell the audience at home that if they ended up in a pinch, "don't take the law into your own hands, you take 'em to court"? Maybe we're remembering that because our 100 Reasons Why We Fell in Love With TV feature has us thinking of classic TV. Or maybe it's because Sheree of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is doing just that. She's not happy with the settlement from her 2007 divorce from her husband Bob, so she's appealing the case, all the way to the Georgia state Supreme Court.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Sheree received a lump sum of $775,000 and $113,422 a year after that, but come on. Is that any kind of way for a high-society, classy lady to live? Sheree doesn't think so either, so she's appealing the decision, and the case will be heard on Monday.
We don't know about you, but we would KILL to hear what NeNe has to say about all this. Can't we televise the court proceedings and have NeNe and Anderson Cooper do color commentary? Get on that, Bravo!
Do you think Sheree has a good case?
