See Nathan Scott Direct!

James LaffertyThe One Tree Hill tradition of actors getting behind the camera continues! James Lafferty, better known to us as NBA dad Nathan Scott, directed tonight's episode, "I and Love and You" -- and show creator Mark Schwahn promises it will be an emotional ride (he cried when he wrote it, y'all).

What's got Mark in a kerfuffle? Lots of Clay/Sarah and Quinn/David relationship backstory, apparently -- which both gives us a ton of info we've been waiting for, and James some convenient off-camera time. The 24-year-old actor also directed last season's episode "Show Me How to Live."

Other One Tree Hill stars who've tried their hand at helming? Paul Johansson, Moira Kelly, Chad Michael Murray, and Bethany Joy Galeotti.

Check out a preview of "I and Love and You," here.

Who's your favorite Scott brother?

I HOPE LUCAS AND PEYTON COME BACK CAUSE NATHAN NEED SOME TO HAVE HIS BACK TO KEEP DAN HONEST. WANDER IF THE LIE DETECTIVE TEST IS A WAY OF FIND OUT THAT NATHAN IS NOT THE FATHER AT LEAST I HOPE SO. BECAUSE I LIKE HIM AND HALEY TOGETHER. KEEP THE DRAMA WITH BROOK AND HER LOVE LIFE. BUT I SEE THE TEST SAY NATHAN IS THE FATHER OF HER UNBORN CHILD. DRAMA IS ALRIGHT BUT NOT WITH THEM TWO. IT NOT MAKING THE STORY MORE INTERESTING. OK I HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO WATCH I GUESS I GO TO THE FAMILY CHANNEL AND WATCH LINCOLN HEIGHTS.
