I agree with everyone about the writers being lousy. Any time the ratings get low they keep bringing the story line of Sheila back and now her evil sister was the culprit with Daisy and Ryder helping with the dirty work. Now they have Janna helping Ryder!? Get real writers and give us something better for the summer.

I just signed on to say that I've had enough and a string of relatives and friends are going with me. Enough already with the diabolical and increcibly evil plots. I too can't take another day of the twins (doubles) and I am just sick of watching the ongoing 24/7 misery. Enough is enough. I love the cast members and will miss them, but the writers need to at lest let the folks have a few happy days before they kill off all of Genova City. So long ...

I hate Patty and so sick of her character that I don't like Emily either since they are the same person.These double characters are killing the quality of the show and sooo unreal it is almost sickening.

I have to agree with you, Ive watched Y&R back in the day when the writing was number one. I started watching soaps in 1968 and Y&R has always been #1, but now I record it so I can fast forward through the stuff I don't want to watch which is most of it these days. For a crazy person Patti is extremely smart. I thought at one time Paul had taken her off the case and she was to stay away from his sister (Patti/Emily) but she comes and goes as she please's. She dyes her hair blow dry it, pick up medication to give Patti/Emliy, picks her up put her up undress her put her on a gurny a roll her to the crematory before Jack get their! I am so sick of this person being smarter than everyone else and getting away with it. And I think she did kill Adam and keystone cop Chance feel it but so hell bent on blaming a Newman. How dare him, he's not a good cop anyway he stupid.
I heard a lot of new things were in the works hope they hurry up, I do like the fact that Sean Young is joining the cast. I love her and hope she brings something to the show worth watching.

I am so sick of these idiotic story lines. I had not watched Y&R for 2 yrs because of silly things likes this. A year ago it got exciting again, now it has gotten ridicoluos. I have now gotten into All My Children instead. You may lose a fan forever........

I am with wolf lady67 you are losing your fans and need to really start looking for a new story line. If you are going to repeat something bring in the stories like you had with victor, nikki and paul back in the day or catherine, jill and phillip at least make them interesting. stop using the same characters over and over. stop bringing back the dead. it is time to set down and rethink your whole story line. I also have watch Y & R since day one and it has got to where i turn the channel or just not watch. I can remember when I was glued to Y & R
