In what universe would any abuser be conidered a white knight or a romantic lead??? For so many years now ABC has been telling us that Ryan is a white knight yet his actions are quite the contrary. I'm sick of this arrogant jerk and no amount pimping by ABC will ever convince me to care for this character. PV would be a much better place without any Laverys.

I'm really sick of AMC portraying Ryan as a hero. This is one of the reasons I don't watch AMC anymore. Every new writer that takes over write Ryan exactly like Frons tells them too. Ryan the hero in everyone's storyline front and center. This dude is such a loser. He's had 4 loves of his life in 1 year. He bed other men wives (Aiden, Zach). He bails on his wives, girlfriends and even his children to fall into bed with the next true love.

How does AMC expect the fans to root for this guy as a hero. He's a joke and so is AMC. It was the last straw for me when he bedded his son's grandmother, her daughter and ex-step-daughter. He had sex while not being divorced from his little girl's mother while she was in a mental institution. He even bedded his son's mother who by the way was still married less than 90 days after waking up from a coma and a heart transplant.

AMC want to call this idiot a hero/white knight. No wonder AMC keep having new writers every other year.

Ryan needs to enroll in anger management classes. He has verbally abused women and threatened them physically. Punched people, including policemen and gets away with it, bullies any one in his view, thinks he knows it all and butts into everyone's business. He is the most vile character on any soap, yet we are always told he is a white knight. He could never be a white knight, they have brains and care about others. We can't be brainwashed into thinking he is one.

No one at ABC -- other than Cam's #1 Fan, Brian Frons -- seems to have noticed that ever since this himbo was nauseatingly front-burnered, the ratings have plummeted. He is NOT leading man material, and now that TK/Zach has left the show, AMC had better come up with a true heartthrob...quick!

He's a buffoon who ruins every scene he's in. He's been paried up with so many women, but NONE have had any chemistry with him because he's so insipid. He rants, raves, spits, bellows in that hoarse-whisperer voice of his...and I'd love to see him try to "act" without flailing his arms about, like he did today.

I want to chime in with the posters that don't see Ryan as a white knight or a hero. This character has been pushed on the audience by some PTB at ABC Daytime as some sort of romantic leading man, when all he is is an abusive, controlling, fickle jerk. He is the epitome of what a decent woman would never want in a man......someone who at the drop of a hat will travel from bed to bed never looking back at the hurt and disaster he leaves behind. I think it is high time to drop this pathetic character from the AMC canvas and bring back a real man.

Cindy is right he is an abuser and I hate that the show seems to want to overlook this and keep trying to make him the show's hero. He far from being one and will never be as far as I am concerned.

How sad it is that AMC thinks of ryan as a white knight, more like a nightmare. ryan has sucked the life out of this show. He is no more a hero than pratt was a writer. TIIC got rid of pratt they need to do the same with ryan. I agree with Cindy, the hero worshipping and the every ladies man has got to stop.
