The old Todd left years ago and he should not be brought back in my opinion. That is unfair to the actor playing Todd now. I'm tired of the soaps bringing new actors on to take over a role and then getting rid of them so they can bring back the "original" one. The worse example is "the real greenlee". That was just wrong. Anyway I have more important things on my mind now after hearing about ABC's decision to cancel AMC and OLTL. They will regret it. Oprah is leaving and they will be losing viewers when she goes and now they want to cancel two legendary soap operas too. They will see what happens. No one is going to watch those 2 replacement shows. I am not watching ABC period. I like the view and what would you do and 20/20 but out of respect for my favorite soap operas and the actors i will have to stop watching. I think ABC is finding out just how many people will stop watching because their message board is so jammed with complaints i couldn't even make one. I couldn't sign in, the stupid website wouldn't let me register. Well get used to it. I am going to call and leave a message. I already asked Oprah on her OWN site to pick up the shows. I'm asking Soapnet to consider it as well. I will find out where this petition is so that i can sign it as well. We all have to do something to save these shows. Its not right and ABC will regret this decision. I pray some other network will pick them up.

I am so dissappointed with ABC, they should not be canceling All my children and One Life to Live. I have been watching those 2 since I was 21 years of age. ABC is stupid.

I agree! Why can't Soapnet pick up All My Children and One Life To Live. It would be good publicity for them and we still can watch our favorite day time shows.

This post could have been written by me just by changing,'12 years old and am now 51'. This makes me so sad, like losing family.

I wish OLTL could continue, even at an odd hour. I would be willing to record it and watch it later. I have watched OLTL for 40 years. I can relate to Vicki, we even had babies around the same time. Please ABC, consider keeping OLTL.

I am appauled at the decision of ABC to cancel All My Children & One Life to Live ...What are these people thinking???? I have been watching soaps since I was 11 years old, and I am now 54, this is NOT RIGHT!!!! If ABC wants to cancel these shows then maybe another station can or will pick them up. To end these Iconic shows would be a VERY BAD decision.

there is a petition to sign...there is another comment on this site that tells u where to go to sign it....but we all need to stick together on this & keep sending emails & making phone calls...there is also 800 numbers on this site to call...i left a message for AMC & then one for OLTL & told them exactly how i felt about this decision....everyone needs to look for this stuff & make these phone calls & emails....

if these soaps no longer exist soapnet will be going off the air in 2012

Fri, Apr 15 - 2:28 pm

i have sent emails to Oprah's network OWN to ask if they would consider picking up both soaps & then ABC can go straight to u know where...i have been a fan since i can remember & i am now 64 & still watching...if they take them off then i will no longer watch ABC daytime shows...i have also sent emails to bruce fons who is the one in charge & i believe made the decision....u can email him at bruce.fons@abc.com. please send him & everyone u can think of to try to keep the shows on the air....i personally hope that ABC's financial status falls lower than it claims it has because of the soaps....when viewers leave because of this horrid decision maybe the person responsible for this decision will be fired.
