One more thing. If the writers are trying to sensationalize the plots in hopes of attracting more viewers and boosting their ratings, they have failed miserably.

Summer is Jack's child, not Nick's.As for Sharon crying all the time, she lost a child and now another. I have lost a child and I relate to the effects. I agree that the writer's are doing a lousy job. That is reflected in the lack of Emmy nominations this year. As for the Ashley/Sharon baby switch, how sick is that? Everyone has been caused enough "cruel" pain. Give Sharon back her child and come up with better storylines. Y&R is losing many long-term fans. Is anyone from Y&R listening? Apparently not.

GIVE US BACK THE REAL Y & R, AND THE REAL REAL ACTORS, YOU WRITERS ARE A BUNCH OF LOONS. WITH THE ECONOMY BEING THE WAY IT IS, YOU SHOULD BE HIRING PEOPLE THAT REALLY KNOW HOW A STORYLINES SHOULD BE AND WHERE IT SHOULD LEAD THE VIEWERS TOO. I HOPE YOU'RE NOT PAY THESE GUYS MUCH OF A SALARY FOR THIS MESS!

You guys keep haten on Phyllis, what the heck should she do, she has a child by Nick as well, she let his Butt go to be with Sharon, I was hoping she would move on, Nick and Sharon do belong together, their both weak and needy. Sharon cries to much, no back bone. At lease Phyillis was woman enough to tell Nick to go. Sharon would say it and then cry, she did the same with Jack, Brad, she's been a slot too.
Nikkie never like Sharon, she's was never had a job to do anything if it wasn't off the Newmans coat tail, Phyliis always made it on her own. She adds backbone and excitement to the women on Y&R, otherwise, there isn't any, except for Coey now.

I was waiting for someone to touch on the subject of Victor leaveing; its these student writers that are coming up with these storylines that don't make sense. Y&R has been a soap that viewers has watched over 30yrs, and thats how long Victor has been a loyal actor, they want to cut his salary again, which has been the problem with the major actors we so love to watch, they don't treat these loyal veterans of soaps with any respect for what they have help to make the soaps recieve their ratings they have, and sometimes respect for what you do and have done for the business means more then just the money. So before all of you go say'n how "rootless" Victor is, read the interview on what he's letting the viewers know whats going on behind the seen's. As a longtime viewer, you should be able to tell when something is going on with the writers when the storylines takes off in a direction that leaves the questions in your mind of what did I miss, and you know you watch daily. Its the WRITERS people, they wanted to leave in everyones mind that imange as to kill Victor off,and Colleen was just collateral damage for them, they didn't even respect her as longtme childhood actor or as a young actor to carry on in the lost of her father"Brad" or as an Abbot. Victor makes the soap, Nick is to weak to carry on as a Newman, Victoria isn't the Victoria that Heather Thoms made her to be, thats was a Newman, Adam doesn't have the characteristics that make a Newman, I say,it will be the grandchildren that bring the Newman business respect and make the name meaningful again. The storyline re: Sharon/Ashley- baby swap is jus ridiculous, after what she and Nick went through after cassie passed away. This is jus too much. Things needs to go her way for once, Nick and Sharon belongs together. Adam needs to be thrown behind bars and have some cruel things done to him, or jus left him to the will of Victor. Ashley needs to get a grip of herself.

I agree with everyone else. I hope you guys fix this very quick and give Sharon back her baby. You need to reveal everything Adam has done and get rid of him. Nick needs to leave Phyllis and go back to Sharon. Please fix this story line fast and don't drag it out for years!!!

I have been watching Y&R since before B&B was spun off from it. Until now it's been the one soap I found to always be tastefully done and who's storylines were often realistic. What's been happening over the past several months is absolutely horrible. It's turned into a trashy soap like most others. Sharon and Nick losing Cassie was done so much true to life I was amazed by their acting. Now to have them "Lose" a second child is just annoying because it's unrealistic. Switching babies..come on...get real...that storyline is old. I want to know which one of the writers came up with that bird brain idea???? This isn't OLTL ya know. Get back to basics and give us what Y&R has always been able to produce. Cuz otherwise, I'm done.
