Rebecca Budig Returns to All My Children
She's back!
We can officially confirm that Rebecca Budig is set to reprise the role of troublemaker Greenlee Smythe on All My Children. No first air date has been announced, but chances are Rebecca will fly to New York to start filming before All My Children ceases its New York-based production in December.
Rebecca originated the role of Greenlee in 1999, and continued to play the part until 2005. She returned to the show in 2008, and left earlier this year. When last seen, Greenlee was on a motorcycle in her wedding dress, on the way to a lesbian wedding (God, we love this show) when her best friend Kendall ran her off the road! Her body was never found.
When Greenlee returns, she's certain to find that a lot has changed in town -- including that her ex-husband, Ryan, is now getting involved with her archenemy, Erica Kane.

Ryan has seen her record on Dr Doom's puter. He'll follow up and find her, and come riding back to PV on a big white horse, with Greenlee on his lap!!! (barf!)
I have always liked the character of Greenlee but I am a little apprehensive about embrassing her come back....She left the first time it was sad..she came back I was excited...but now I do not want to invest my time in a character who comes and goes any time she feels like it....so if shes staying WOO HOO..if not then Bah Humbug....

This is a no brainer if you really watch the show and know how the writers think...... and how things go .....I have been watching and waiting for her to be announced as returning... She is the person David's accomplis up north has been taking care of since she left the hospitat agter covering for David in drugging Adam....
If you watch the search party you will see that David is up there... lurking around... Mpt really sure sure what grandious way that they are going to bring her back but you can bet that David will have his little clammy hands in it.
It figures now why Kendell is on the run.... A hiatus....and if Zakc is not staying on the show then.... you really can't have Adam confess now... So I recon when Kendall is ready to come back... we will get a confession... and maybe by that time Zack will have a change of heart...
If you have noticed little Spike had not been on the show for almost a month. and little Eian has only been on there a few times. Who is watching the kids while all this stuff is going on?
Writers kinda of left a BIG BLACK HOLE in this area...
Infact there are may black holes....that they better get writing to fix the whole historical story line...
27 years I have been watching this and ya all are really streaching it this time and leaving too many "hang fires" on too long...
I am not very happy to see where this whole thing is going. I know people need time off... but with such a limited cast at this time... Does not seem to be as large as in the past.... I am sure the writers are having nightmares as how to write this show with some continuity....
I have no idea how she is going to return but this is what my theory is: Remenber when Amanda saw David in the window stalking her at Bianca's wedding but they all just brushed that off?? Well my guess is that he was in fact there and saw what happened at the accident and took Greenlee and has been hiding her and nursing her back to health all this time. Cuz: also rmember when his "nurse" was doing all this stuff for him and then got caught and He then in turn sent her away b4 she could get caught? well he said to her I want you to go here to so and so. I have a patient up there and who needs constant care. I want you to go and take care of that patient. Well that is Greenlee, it has to be!!!!!!!!
I think Aidan has Greenlee somewhere. He was the one to identify her body, the only one, and he brought Ryan Greenlee's ring to prove it. But, she's not dead so he had to get the ring from her somehow.
For Gods Sake the story line on who killed him is killing me!! and Adam should marry Madison they would make a perfect pair of nutty bookends,and the David and Amanda thing sounds like it came right out of a scene of the twilight zone. and David hiding green lee was real strange it seems like the good doctor can do what he wants to in pine valley he should be the major. i find it funny as to everyone running around trying to see who done what who is watching all there children? Annie should be in a nut house just for messing with her daughters head,if you need some new story lines let me know i am sure i could do a better job at keeping people on the edge of there seats then under there seats.
it's a good show don't drag things on so long get to the point and move on!!
