The drama caught on-screen during the first season of hit reality show "The Real Housewives of New York City" apparently spilled over when the cameras weren't rolling. But you can see more of the lashing-out and acrylic-nail-pointing during a taped reunion special that airs on Bravo tomorrow night (April 22).
According to the New York Post, host (and Bravo VP) Andy Cohen brings up the dis heard 'round the world -- or at least the world in which the five Housewives live -- when he mentions the Hamptons cooking party that Ramona Singer didn't invite Jill Zarin to attend. Ramona's reaction? She storms off the set, which makes single "housewife" Bethenny Frankel dub her friend a "prima donna."
Adding to the tension is the lingering anger that Brooklyn's own Alex McCord (yep, the one who posed nude) seems to have for Ramona's remarks about Alex's husband crashing a girls'-night dinner. Says Jill during the finale, "Ramona's always hot and cold ... you just never know which Ramona you're going to get: Ramona or 'Ra-mean-a.'"
All this infighting is great to watch -- even if it does seem a little like high school sometimes -- and we're not the only ones enjoying it. Ratings have gone through the roof, so we'll get another season in New York. Plus, Bravo has announced another branch of the series to take place in New Jersey.
Which "Real Housewife of NYC" do you like the most? The least?
