File this under Excited/Sad: Bethany Frankel (author, skinny girl, runner-up on "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart," lover, fighter, dreamer) will not be on the upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of New York." ALAS, ALACK! Who will go toe-to-toe with Kelly Killoren Bensimon now?
However, don't jump out the nearest window just yet. Page Six is reporting that she's signed on to have her very own show on Bravo this fall called "Skinny Girl and the City." While we're not big fans of that title, we are HUGE fans of Bethany's. The Page Six tipster (aka Bethany's publicist, no doubt) says, "The show will follow her planning her wedding to fiance Jason Hoppy." For more about him, check out this NY Times article that trails Bethany and Jason as they drink margaritas in Greenwich Village.
While we're dishing all things Bethany, Life & Style tells us that she's writing a second book about "romance, money, and friends." Apparently it's inspired by her feud with Kelly. Hmm -- we're very interested to hear what she has to say this time. And hopefully it will include more cocktail recipes!
Will you tune in to Bethany's new show? Are you sad she's no longer a "Real Housewife"?
