Paulina Porizkova will bring a fashionable edge to As The World Turns this January.

So ... what do America's Next Top Model and As The World Turns have in common? Just about bupkis. But that all changed with yesterday's announcement that former supermodel and ANTM judge Paulina Porizkova -- who's also been married to rocker Ric Ocasek since 1989 -- will be venturing to Oakdale for a multi-episode story arc in January!

Details about Paulina's character are scant, but we do know this -- her name is Clarissa, and she has a history with Simon Frasier (Paul Leyden). As we previously reported, Paul joins fellow former ATWT costars Mark Collier and Peter Parros in returning to the show this month.

This isn't Paulina's first foray into the acting world; she co-starred with Tom Selleck in 1989's Her Alibi, played Jerry Lewis's Polish fiancee in 1993's Arizona Dream, and even wrote and directed the film Roommates in 2001 (among other credits).
