Should they stay or should they go?

Two heartfelt Internet videos and countless rumors later, it looks like Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton are staying on "One Tree Hill."

The actors behind show supercouple Lucas and Peyton started a flurry of speculation about the fate of their characters when they took to the Internet and told fans they were being written off at the end of the season. The recent revelation that Peyton's pregnancy is life-threatening only fueled the fire -- if Peyton died in childbirth, wouldn't it make sense for Lucas to leave town and never look back? He's kind of a moody guy.

Today, Entertainment Weekly reports that it's all been for not. Talks to bring Chad and Hilarie back for Season 7 are on, and it was never the writers' wish for them to go.

SOAPnet user collinmarge is firmly in the Leyton camp, asking "OTH" writers, "Please let Lucas and Peyton get married, have their baby and give them a life they have worked so hard for. They love each other so much. They have been part of the main cast since the beginning so why on earth would you want to [lose] them now."
