One Life to Live: Week in Review for October 18, 2010

Starr Manning, Kristen Alderson, One Life to Live

Funniest Moment: We loved watching the Odd Couple-ish stakeout that Langston, James, and Ford took part in on Friday. Langston barely tolerating Ford's presence for Starr's sake was fun, but even more fun was how the two of them were so obviously flirting, and how James had to keep them on task. We especially liked the moment when Langston offered Ford some of her fries. Her teasing "But think of your abs!" managed to be both cutting and somewhat sexy. After all, we're pretty sure Langston is always thinking of Ford's abs.

 

Performer of the Week: Kristen Alderson as Starr Manning. Locked up all alone with baby Hope, Starr had to play scenes of danger that weren't as immediate as, say Danielle and Tea, but were still pretty dire. We love seeing her go toe-to-toe with Hannah, and her dream sequence, where Cole couldn't save her but James could, was both telling and weirdly amusing too. Plus, Kristen just makes us root for Starr all the more, just because of our familiarity with her. We've known her for so long -- she's part of our family. No one kidnaps our family!

 

Best Moment: Tea's happy reunions. We've been waiting for these moments, and they did not disappoint. Tea and Danielle reuniting was so emotional, the scene could barely contain it. Those ladies can cry! There were comparably fewer tears when Tea and Blair laid eyes on each other, but it was still great to see the enemies-turned-friends laugh and cry their way through such insane circumstances.

i think that starr needs to beat hannah up so that she and hope can get back home to cole and i think that hannah needs to find a man or go to jail and leave cole and starr alone cuz starr and cole belong together not star and james or hahnnah and cole

I have been wondering the same thing, where are Nora & Bo. You are letting Matt take his grudge to far. is Dani the only young lady in his school? Cole is a numb skull, Starr needs to leave him alone and let him have Hannah, they are certainly two of a kind. Please get Marty and man and Rex a Mom.

this week was good. hope James finds Starr and Hope then she can see how much he loves them. James saw Hannah was acting funny an went with that feeling Cole on the other hand thinks she can do no wrong it seems. its time for Starr to see that James is the guy for her. STARRJAM!!!!!!

other then that it was a great week. keep up the good work oltl writers.

I think that OLTL is getting really stupid. Tea should have already been found and Eli needs to die not Greg you have really gotten so stupid and Now Star and Hope that Hanna need to be shot and Cole needs to see what a witch Hanna is. I almost stopped watching this but I am giving it another week and if Tea and Star are not ok then I am done and I have been watching it for years.

boo hoo!!!! poor dr greg :( everybody feels so sorry for him and pitying him! thats crap....he a selfish jerk and deserves every bad thing thrown his way! im sorry, but anybody who would risk innocent lives all cuz he didnt want destiny to know that he is her father, so maybe he should be the one pumped full of poison and see how he likes it

i'm so sick of Eli,Hannah and cole. I would like to see starr with james since he seems to care more about her and hope than cole does. I can't wait for todd and tea to reunite. hope dani is okay. and matthew is turning into a little clint, where's bo and nora? they had better get a handle on their son

i hope star and james get together and cole and hannah leave the show and i hope natulie's baby is brody as well as jessica's. i fell sorry for john but he should know that nat is not good for him. and i too remember when charlie took a dna test and rex is not his son so that leaves clint, ha ha ha . please dont let blair and tea die we just got tea back so please keep blair so star and hope can all be together i cant wait for todd and tea to make it home safe and sound. cloe is such a whimp now star needs a real man like james.
