It was an interesting week, interrupted as it was by a certain pop legend's memorial service, but the drama continued unabated in Llanview, as per usual. Let's check out some of the highlight moments, shall we?

Funniest Moment: Dorian soothing Langston's nerves before the Riveras arrived for the dinner party of the damned. Dorian was trying to portray herself as the consummate "earth mother." She commented on her own appearance, for Langston's benefit: "No fake fingernails, subtle makeup, and PRACTICALLY my own hair!" That Dorian -- a picture of grace and class.

WTH? Moment: So far as we could tell, John McBain accepted his new commission as the head of Llanview detectives, immediately went to La Boulaie to halt the wedding of Cole and Starr, and upon his return half an hour later, his name was already stenciled and painted onto his office door. Our office never seems to run that efficiently or quickly. Does yours?

Best Moment: Starr and Cole not getting married! Thank goodness! Honestly, the message that anyone should be getting married before they've even reached their senior year of high school is not a good one! Now Cole can go be an undercover agent and Starr can get back to the important business of raising Hope, feuding with her father, and completing her high school degree! Besides, if they HAD gotten married, you know they would have been divorced by New Year's Eve. And this way, we get to look forward to a big blowout wedding in the future, which this couple deserves.
