"One Life to Live": Week in Review
It was a bit of a short week in Llanview, what with only four episodes and all, but there was still plenty to amuse and intrigue us. So before we fire up the big SOAPnet grill for hot dogs and burgers, let's review some of the highlights this week, shall we?
Funniest Moment: This one was sort of funny/creepy: Blair is telling Cristian that Layla might have feelings for him. But Cristian brushes that aside and reminds Blair that he used to be romantically involved with Evangeline, Layla's sister. Blair's blithe, soothing response was "Evangeline's in a coma, Cristian," as if that totally made everything OK. Um, what?? Blair's sense of dating ethics is hilarious.
WTH? Moment: For us, this was any person who met news that Cole and Starr were planning to have a quickie wedding with anything less than incredulity. The primary offender was Schuyler, who gave his heartfelt congratulations to the underage couple upon hearing the unsettling news. Isn't this the very teacher who lost his job because Starr threw herself at him in a completely inappropriate way? And isn't he also occasionally Cole's drug counselor? The answer to both questions is "Yes." That makes it even more bizarre that he's so overjoyed at the impending nuptials. Schuyler's getting weirder and weirder of late. Anyone else noticing that?
Best Moment: Blair's gorgeous torch song serenade of the town -- the lady sings the blues! We've made it plain that we adore the musical montages on this show. We've also been vocal fans of Blair Cramer. It was a haunting, twang-y melody that's still playing in our heads and it played over the post-coital bliss of several Llanview couples. Magical!

Why are all the women on this show protrayed as oversexed and braindead? And most of the men womanizers and/or idots ?
This show is really getting boring and far fetched?
Why was the crooked cop JOHN given his badge back? Makes me sick!
Please get Blair a new hobby and leave Todd alone.
I liked how Marcy and Mike ended on the show. However what happened to her being sterile and couldn't have anymore kids? Huh?
And how is it when Gigi tried to set Kyle up and was in the bar scene afterward she had the sexy outfit on and a coat over it. Then commerical break and she has and entirely different outfit on but was in the same conversation with Skylar?
Come on Writers/Directors & Producers. Are you trying to see if we are paying attention or just insulting our intelligence? If this keeps up your veiwership is going to be less. And if veiwers stop watching then that means they don't watch and buy the sponsors products. You do the figures.
For a PI Rex is so stupid! Come on give us a break.
I have been watching these soaps for years and I honestly don't know why. The story lines are always the same and couples can't be counted on to stay together. In fact you can pretty much figure that once things are finally going well, something is going to happen to ruin the relationship. It's a wonder the offspring of these characters don't have 3 eyes and other mutations on their body parts. It's time the writers start speeding up these lame stories and let the popular couples have a happy stint that lasts a while for a change.
And for you folks who have things to say on the message board....PLEASE LEARN TO SPELL AND USE CORRECT GRAMMAR! It's very irritating trying to decipher some of these messages.
I think Starr and Cole are an adorable couple.I hope they will be able to stay together.It would be nice to have a couple stay together and happy for awhile.I know its a soap, but happiness can come to soaps!
Rex and Gigi are the best part of the show lately for me..I have been waiting for Stacey to get busted ever since she was introduced on the show! I really want her to get caught and thrown to the wolves!! I can't wait!
Todd and Tea, Trevor and Florencia were the best thing on this show all week. They are not only the best couple on this show right now. But have the best chemistry more than anyone else. And Jessica and Brody comes second to them.
My Performers Of The Week: goes to both Trevor and Florencia. As for the rest of the show this week. Do you know the meaning to the word boring? Because that's what it was.
Todd and Tea was the only thing that saved the show for me.
