While they've been the best of friends and the worst of enemies (...mostly the worst of enemies), Viki and Dorian have always been pillars of Llanview. But all good things must come to an end. This week, with Dorian taking her political career to the next level, she's going to have to say goodbye. Look for a farewell from the Cramer women, and a chance for her and Viki to reflect on their epic rivalry. They even get locked up together one last time!
Meanwhile, Llanview is being torn apart by the family feud between Todd and Victor (the artist formerly known as Todd Manning) Todd's children are having their loyalties pulled in all directions -- with Jack an especially staunch defender of Victor. Todd is enraged that Victor has essentially stolen his son from him. The Manning brothers prepare for all-out war, and they're playing for keeps. But where will Blair, Tea, Starr, and Dani fall in between them? And with Irene still pulling strings and making threats, not everyone is going to come out of this alive.
The Manning war also threatens to blow Brody's world sky-high -- remember, Victor is still one of the few people who know that John is really Liam's father. And after all Victor's been through as a result of the lies of his parents, he's not exactly inclined to keep up the charade, even if it does mean giving John what he wants. We may find out just how far Brody will go to hold on to his family.
Rex's search for answers about his visions of Gigi leads him to a shocking discovery this week...and the return of a character bound and determined to shake things up. Yes, Rex's search takes him directly to KIM, who is thinking about braving David Vickers's blackmail and returning to Llanview and Clint. But she's got more than a few secrets she'll be taking back with her.
All this, plus Joey and Kelly prepare to leave Llanview together, and Jessica tells Ford they shouldn't see each other anymore.
Which storyline are you most looking forward to this week?

Scarface Todd is now showing his true colors! I'm glad Jack hates him! Everything he said was true! I felt really bad for Victor! I'm glad people are sticking by him! Irene is the only one to blame for everything! Scarface should get that through his thick, stupid head!
ONCE AGAIN, SOAPNET WILL NOT PICK UP THE SOAPS OKAY? THEY WILL NOT. SOAPNET WILL BE TAKEN OFF AIR IN JANUARY 2012. THEY ARE CANCELLING SOAPNET AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT WE CAN DO ABOUT IT. OKAY? SO ENOUGH ALREADY. OPRAH IS NOT GOING TO SAVE THE SOAPS. SHE DOESN'T CARE AT ALL. IF SHE DID, THEN SHE SHOULD'VE DONE SOMETHING ALREADY. BUT, SHE HASN'T. THE CHEW ALREADY TOOK ALL MY CHILDREN'S PLACE COMING UP IN SEPTEMBER. THEN, ONE LIFE TO LIVE IS NEXT IN JANUARY. THERE IS NOTHING THAT WE COULD DO. I WISH THERE WAS, BUT YOU ALL HAVE TO FACE THE FACTS. THEY DON'T CARE AT ALL. THEY JUST DO WHAT EVER THEY WANT. THEY HAVE THE RIGHT. IT'S THEIR NETWORK OR PRODUCTION OR SOMETHING. I DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN EITHER. BUT, RATHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT, IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN. WE ALL ARE GOING TO HAVE TO START WATCHING OUR SOAPS ON THE INTERNET. ON ABC/ DAYTIME.COM.
Everyone keeps forgetting that our shows are going to continue online- something that was announced weeks ago. ABC dumped the shows because they cost too much and since soap net.com is owned by ABC and Disney if they could not afford to pay to keep it on tv then they still would net to pay the same money no matter where. As much as it sux and I have watched on and off since 1981 I am blown away that they are doing a seriously stupid thing to the soap institution, even if they rationalize that having to pay 4 or5 people instead of a whole cast and crew, etc. They are destroying us. Disney knows we have enuf kid shows of theirs and both networks are going to pay for this all. A lot of us will not watch another food and/or talk show. From the View to the Chew to the SPEW! Blah. Love you all and don't give up.........boycott ABC! XO
The Todd/Victor Jr. storyline is great! Trevor St. John has really brought his A game. I'm gonna miss this show.
I have been fuming over my shows being cancelled. I have watched since 1977 regularly, all the ABC soaps. I had already thought years ago they should have moved them to soapnet when it debuted, just airing at same times. Soapnet used to be good with shows outside of the soaps with the actors and the interviews.. Then they started adding all these old 'teen' show reruns. Now they are saying SoapNet is going off the air for 'toddler programming'? How much tv should a toddler be watching anyway! I dont care for the 'reality' shows. Never watch those except 'Dancing with the Stars'. I don't like the way everyone is 'leaving' in the storylines for elsewhere, they should just continue on as if normal and leave it off there until they work out something else
I THINK ABC YOU DID A HUGE MISTAKE CANCELING ONE LIFE TO LIVE AND ALL MY CHILDREN I KNOW MYSELF AND A HUGE AMOUNT OF OTHER FANS WILL NOT BE WATCHING ABC IN THE AFTERNOON AND SINCE YOU DIDN'T FEEL THE NEED TO ASK YOUR VIEWERS ABOUT THESE SOAPS I PERSONALLY HOPE THESE SHOWS BACKFIRE ON YOU
I'm real sorry to see Dorian go, but I think were going to be seeing alot of that in the month's to come.... I just wish that Soapnet could pick up the soap's some how.... I think the two Todd storyline is a bit crazy... I glad the storyline about Naim is going to come out, it's long over due... I wonder how Jessica will react when she still cares about Brody? I can't beleive that there going to bring back Kim, when Gigi, was alot better then her. I would rather have Gigi, return as someone else then have Kim come back.
COME ON SOAPNET TAKE OVER THESE SOAP'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree whole heartedly with the comment that was posted friday the 19th Aug. The newly unemployed (due to the economy) and the house wives are not going to be happy with ABC taking the soaps off the air. Who wants another stupid Food Show. I like to escape the real life drama of every day and indulge in the soaps for 2hrs a day. I wish we could do something to stop ABC from doing this stupid thing.
