there are any number of soap actors that have been on more than one show at the time of its cancellation..i'm not going to run down a list her, but point out Ilene Kristen as one..not only was she with Ryan's Hope when it was canceled, but both shows have the same final air date..RH aired its last episode on January 13, 1989, and OLTL's last air date is also January 13!

January 13 again plays, as it was on this date, in 1978, that OLTL aired its last 45-minute show..'The Revolution' starts the same day OLTL aired its first one-hour show - exactly 343 years later......

last i heard SOAPnet is going bye-bye in favor of children's programming. with all the shows that have been preserved either from the beginning or, as i understand, the late 70s, this is what SOAPnet should have done from the beginning!!!

I also agree that it would be very nice for SOAP NET to air All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital from the beginning, not in the middle, I didn't have a recorder to view them back in the day and missed many shows!

Dear Agnes, Thank you for so many years of your wonderful writing! I so enjoyed your SOAPS, I will miss them and wish all the actors & actresses much happiness on their new journeys. Your endings to these SOAPS left many questions but that is what a good writer does! Take care Agnes and Thank You! Gentle Spirit

I am very sadden to hear about the cancellations of AMC and OLTL. I really think that the decision was not thought out thoroughly and not take the viewers reactions into consideration. We, the viewers were very dedicated. I just hope that GH is not next on the chopping block :-) The way I see things, it looks like DayTime TV will be full of talk shows and cooking shows! SMH!!!

it is sooooooo great that my favorite OLTL guys, John and Todd, are going to General Hospital. Of course, Todd is my number one favorite guy. It is so awesome how Angie and Annie wound up on Y and R and j.r. wound up on the Bold and the Beautiful. It is amazing that the other soap operas are helping to keep these people employed. anyway, back to Todd....it will be even greater if Todd and Star get to keep their father/daughter bond on GH. The two stars have great chemistry together. This will probably have more people watching GH now...great strategy.

It would be nice to see One Life to Live and All My Children from beginning to end. I am a long time fan of both and
will truly miss them both.

So, why spare Cole when he was just leaving to go off and b with his crazy murdering mom that got off scott free, just like Cole will. The only reason I can think of is why Ford didn't make it is because he wasn't on board for prospect park, when they thought OLTL was going to continue. Poor Jessica can't have a baby with out loosing the father just like Nash.
