Todd (Trevor St. John) is forced to face the consequences of his actions, as Llanview learns that he held Marty (Susan Haskell) captive for months. Everyone wants a piece of him, and at the front of the line are Cole (Marty's son), and Todd's ex, Blair (Kassie DePaiva). They've certainly got lots of reason to be angry: Everyone, including Todd's daughter, Starr (Kristen Alderson), finds out that he planned to steal Starr's baby. How will Todd face those he betrayed, especially when he learns that his newborn granddaughter is dead?

But, as viewers know, she's not. Starr's child is safe in the arms of Jessica (Bree Williamson), who doesn't even realize her little girl is not her daughter at all. Only Bess, Jessica's alternate personality (with a penchant for black rimmed glasses) knows the truth: Jessica's baby died, so Bess switched her with Starr's newborn. This week, Tess, Jessica's wild, unstable alter (with a penchant for smoking and locking people in basements) regains control, while Jessica faces Bess. Will Jessica get to the truth, or will Tess realize it first?

Dorian (Robin Strasser) might be the one to uncover the baby switch. She senses something fishy about the death of Starr's baby, and starts investigating. She corners Starr's doctor and demands answers about the infant. Dorian usually gets what she wants, but in this case, will she get the truth?
