All we can say about the stories "One Life to Live" has in store for the month of September is that it is going to be action-packed. And not just BANG-BANG action ... although there will be plenty of that, too, actually. Get ready for a month of betrayals, lies, surprising kisses, emergency surgery, shocking admissions, and even a wedding. What exactly are we on about? Keep reading ...

The biggest development in September is that the drug-bust storyline -- undercover Cole! Drug-dealing mayor! -- really blows up. It ends up reaching almost every major character. And it's all because of one man: Todd. Todd spots Cole dealing drugs, and he totally flips out. As you can imagine. To keep him from killing Cole, Starr tells him about the undercover operation, at which point Todd demands that Cole be taken off the case. And he takes this demand all the way to ... the mayor. Yeah. So Cole's cover is blown, and everyone he loves -- Starr, Hope, Marty, John -- is in danger.

So -- buckle up -- Lowell puts a hit out on Cole, and Todd and Starr get attacked, and John has to spring into action and save everyone. This leads to a massive rescue effort, where pretty much everyone in Llanview teams up to get Cole’s loved ones (and not-so-loved ones) safe from some seriously scary and dangerous guys. It's an action-packed series of episodes, and when the smoke clears, two characters end up in the emergency room. And only one of them recovers.

Regarding the Carlotta character. She's an actress and if she wants a job she's going to have to take whatever they throw at her. I really don't like the new Carlotta yet (maybe she'll grow on me) but she handled the line pretty good...People tend to read what they want into the Bible but the bottom line is if it's a sin to be gay, it's also a sin to judge others and God never specified which were the worse sin. Lets face it, we are all sinners, she should have said the few little lines where she mistakenly thought her son was gay (and was okay with it) and be done with it.

Please don't kill off Brody Lovett he's one of the better charaters. Jessica really deserves a little bit off happiness ( I liked Nash to)! If the shows needs to get rid of a character I really hope it's Stacy I hate that character and the storyline is so typical and repetative i think? I'm all for a Nora & BO reunion (been wainting yrs for it)! Go Vicki...! I think she should win this battle with Dorian I'm tired of Vicki having to be the nice one and lose to Dorian (I hate Dorian) they should kill her off already or at least move her to Pari.

I respect and admire Patricia Mauceri for standing up to her personal beliefs. Her character is that of a very devoted Mother and very family centered. She protects her sons, stands by them no matter what, always sitting the example of a honest, clean-cut, Mother. It is her lifestyle that I admire most on "Life" their is enough questionable behavior the other characters are playing. Leave her alone, this role has been successful for over 14 years, and we need to have at least one stable family member in the show. We want her back, I have been watching life for over 20 years, and will stop in a New York minute, if this sotryline continue, and most certainly will boycott all of the advertisers products.

This is juat what I'm saying they really had on right to fire her just because she believe one way she has the right too, I have been watching OLTL for many years. I just could beleve my eyes the other day when I seen someone new play her role, I just thought she was out sick. Until I saw what I seen about her being fired. I just hope that the writers will soon see that they got rid of a great lady.

'One Life to Live' actress Patricia Mauceri says she was let go from the soap opera not because of plot points or poor performance, but because of her religious beliefs.

Mauceri, who was on 'OLTl' for 14 years, claims that she was let go from 'Life' because she objected to a gay storyline that had been written for her character. She tells FOX News that when she brought up her questions towards the storyline due to her devout Christian beliefs which helped sculpt her Carlotta Vega character, she was replaced.

The 59-year-old Mauceri says that she "did not object to being in a gay storyline. I objected to speaking the truth of what that person, how that person would live and breathe and act in that storyline ... And this goes against everything I am, my belief system, and what I know the character's belief system is aligned to."

The scene at the center of the issue was one involving what FOX calls "gay-friendly dialogue."

Mauceri tells FOX that she's considering legal options regarding her termination.

An ABC spokesperson told FOX that they weren't aware of any claims of firing due to religious beliefs. Should such claims surface, however, the spokesperson said they "would be frivolous."

I would prefer Shawn over his brother. I love Shawn, but you always kill off the people we love. How could you kill off a real person. And Dorian is as much to blame as Todd. She had no right to ease drop and then betray her families secret for a stupid job.
