I think the writers as well as the actors on OLTL are extremly TALENTED!!! They are doing a great job with the Gay storyline. It is tastefull. Two guys kissing is a reality in this world and they have every bit as much of a right as hetrosexuals do. I really hope that this storyline and charecters stick around for a while. I dont know if the actors are Gay or Straight but they are really doing a great job. The writers are showing ignorant people that Gays are people with feelings (NOT PERVERTS) they too fall in love and deserve to be treated fairly. Live and LET LIVE. KUDOS TO THE ACTORS AND THE WRITERS!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

My wife and I are big,big, fans of the show. We are very open minded concerning the rights of all people, but we find that OLTL has gone a little bit overboard with the mass gay marrriage and using Dorian's fake marriage as a platform for her Mayoral quest.
If I were gay I would find this type of behavior contrary to helping the movement,but instead making it seem that it was all about lies and deceiving.
We enjoy the show and want it to continue,but I don't think this type of story line will be sucessful for the writers involved and may put the show in more jepordy. In real life lies and deception only lead to disaster and in such important movements as gay rights, I think it is in very bad taste to show it as such. Breaking the law, along with lies and deception will never make it happen.

What is half of America now? Gay and they have rights too. We as a society are bashing ,but why.Do we bash when they show individuals killing one another? Do we bash when someone cheats on one another and switch babies? We think that's exciting , well in America we have people dying everyday and on the soaps they die and can come back to life so just get over yourselves and be thankful we have entertainment and drama that we can actually come back to life from.......

I have to comment on this subject. Everything we see in the soap world is really reality. The soaps are just giving people a reason and a stand.Eventually the world will see that we are all human and we have other major crisis in the world that is more important than to bash the gay community. There are real life gay individuals who are struggling so hard to be treated equally let them be.We all have our opinions , but just think we are not perfect and never will be.So please let the writers write.Iif you don't like it turn the channel but stop being a judge and jury we do not get paid to do so. I think some storylines are boring or over the top but who cares it's all about the ratings and without you tuning in there would not be a day time soap to entertain us..... My hats off to all the creative writers keep doing what you do and bringing entertainment and the lifestlyes of the rich to our homes I enjoy every minute of it.

I think that Mitch Lawrence is going to be Rex's father...also about the two men kissing on national tv is more than enough...there are probably young children watching the show and to show two men kissing is disgusting...

Does anyone remember when Jared and Natalie went to the hospital to see the patient that was Shane's stem cell donor? When they opened the curtain, it was Renee in the hospital bed and she said she was having some cosmetic surgery and to keep it a secret. Then when Jared and Natalie left, she said something strange to the doctor or nurse. Anybody have any commentso n this? Did the writers once again change the story line in mid-stream or forget what they wrote?

by the way, the Mayor (if Dorian is elected) has no power to change the law on marriage. It is either the legislature of judidical fiat that can change the laws on marriage and the DOMA must be overturned first, and that will not happen in Pa.

All this talk about Gays and Lesbians is stupid. They have the right to make there own choices who are we to tell them they can't spend the rest of there life with the person they love, they have feelings and emotions just like the rest of. Yeah i know that it's a sin but hell most of us was born in sin and still sinning today no sin is greater then the next. I think that AMC and OLTL is doing an outstanding job and to all the actors and actresses playing gay or lesbian continue doing your job with pride.
