Summer is here, and July looks to be a scorcher in Llanview. First up, we have the rushed nuptials of Starr and Cole. With the young Thornhart about to hit the big house on possession charges, they decide to have a shotgun wedding (sort of). No one's thrilled about this (what with them being teenagers, and the divorce rate being what it is and all) -- but Blair, Marty, and Todd all consent (the latter only after Starr threatens to leave town the second she turns 18). Starr and Cole eagerly and excitedly prepare for their big day. But this is Llanview. So, yes, something unexpected happens at the ceremony.

Across town, John may be solving Cole's jail problem. He accepts Bo's offer to rejoin the force, but only if they get Cole out of jail by making him an undercover drug-buster agent. John wants Cole to pull a Johnny Depp in "21 Jump Street"! How will everyone react to the news that he has to go undercover into the seedy underworld of Llanview in hopes of ferreting out all the druggie scum clogging up the sewers? And what does this mean for nuptial plans for Starr?

Gigi should be careful what she wishes for -- in this case, a reunion with her estranged fiance Rex. She's finally spilled the beans about Stacy's manipulations, and everything seems like it's going to get back on track. Except for the fact that Rex slept with Stacy -- and now he has to tell Gigi that he boinked her sister. He'd better come clean fast, because a seemingly smitten Schuyler might just break the news to Llanview's favorite bar maid first.
