Mischa Barton is getting some SoCal love on her new series, The Beautiful Life. Fellow OC alum Eric Balfour -- who we will always remember as crazy Eddie, Theresa's ex from Chino -- is joining the cast of the CW show for multiple episodes.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Eric, 32, will be playing Eric (convenient, no?), a rival to Elle MacPherson's character Claudia at another modeling agency.

The Beautiful Life, which marks Mischa Barton's return to TV after The OC, premieres tonight.
