We'll miss you, Blake!

If you're like us, you were probably hoping that "Days of our Lives"'s adorable brainiac, Nick Fallon, would somehow get out of serving time for his drug-induced crimes. But no such luck. Even with Melanie's impassioned last minute plea, Nick will spend a minimum of 18 months in the slammer.

Unfortunately, that means Nick and his portrayer, Blake Berris, have checked out of Salem for the foreseeable future. Which really bums us out! Blake, however, remained upbeat about his exit -- and his controversial nice-guy-turned-killer storyline -- in an interview with Soaps.com:

"The way I saw it was there really was this side to Nick throughout his entire time on the show ... He wasn't doing anything violent or anything along those lines, but there was some pretty obsessive tendencies he kind of displayed throughout," he shared. "I was just excited to have the opportunity to have such a cool storyline and I thought it was a great way to end my time on the show and to kind of go out with a bang like that."
