What about Jesse and Angie?
David: "We feel like we've got a great story for them that will test the strength of their marriage, but will ultimately bring them closer together. Angie is going to have a real challenge coming up that's going to test her abilities as a doctor and a wife. She's going to have to decide if she's going to bring Jesse along on this journey."
Donna: "We will have a surprise twist in there, but it really will put them front and center."
David: "We think it's a story that can really break your heart."
What about the Chandler camp?
Donna: "With Adam leaving, that gives a terrific opportunity for JR to really step up and become the new Adam Chandler. We're looking to revitalize all the characters there."
David: "JR has gone through his whole life with this battle of 'Do I want to be my father or do I want to be the opposite of my father?' While Adam has been there, he's been unable to make the final decision. With Adam gone, we'll see him step up to the plate and become the head of the household."
Donna: "And with Annie being a catalyst, it's going to be like Cat on the Hot Tin Roof. We have four characters who are going to have some hot interactions. Everyone is going to be tested there. We've got Scott, who is the good cousin. What does he do to win Annie? What does JR do? And the surprise may be Marissa, who steps up the plate as well. She is David's daughter, so maybe she has much more of a backbone."
David: "Marissa has never had to fight against somebody like Annie before, and she doesn't exactly know how to do it. She finds herself gravitating more toward her father, who is the master of these sort of things."
Donna: "Once again we want to get that whole family to be volatile again, to use all the canvas. We're trying to strengthen the different families and make allegiances between them and draw the enemy lines again -- the way it was in the early days with Agnes's configuration."
David: "As we were saying before, Palmer's death will play into this too. We're looking to invigorate the Cortlandt family again and get back to some of the Cortlandt/Chandler historic battles."
What about Tad?
Donna: "Well, he has a son now. What we want to see is the young Tad 'The Cad' all over again. That's going to be a challenge for him, dealing with a kid who he has to charm because Damon is not totally thrilled about having a new dad like that."
David: "And Liza is very unhappy about the relationship that's building between Damon and Colby. Liza and Tad find themselves on opposite sides of this."

Ryan and Greenlee are hugely popular???? With who? David and Greenlee have revitalized this show. Don't blow it! Please! They are the couple to go with not Ryan and Greenlee!
Jamie Luner will never be Liza Colby to me.
Ryan and Grenelee hugely popular? Were they told to say that by Frons? Surely they cannot think that.
I have no faith in any writer that says they are a huge fan..that's what Esenten and Brown said and look at the mess they made.
And Oh! I can hardly wait to see more of Grenelee, she just isn't on enough!
And any writer who doesn't have the guts to get rid of Annie, the cold blooded murderess, isn't worth my time.
I actually would like Ryan to stay on. I want to see a writer with guts write some storylines where this waste of airtime gets his by having Cambias taken from him which he stole and the Casino which he bought underhandedly. He didn't earn either of these enterprises, he STOLE them. I want him to suffer. But instead it's the fans that suffer with this insufferable, vile character still on my screen. Why does this guy keep resigning his contract?
Romance for Jake and Amanda? Nice. They so deserve it considering they caused all their problems themselves, the two morons. Zendall were pulled apart and manipulated but the fans didn't get to see any romance or peace for these two who were and are more popular than Jake and Amanda can ever be.
Good Luck, Swajeski and Kreizman. With this cast of characters you'll be cancelled within a year!
So far it's interesting instead of Ryle, which I hate, but D&G are the best. Jamanda romance is great, Jesse and Angie story is well deserved.
I hope they are not going back to the tired Ryan and Greenlee. David and Greenlee's story has been fantastic. It's new and fresh and both characters are more enjoyable for it. I'm glad Amanda and Jake are getting more romance. JR and Annie sound gross. Not as gross as Ryan and Greenlee, though.
I WANT JERICA. Not another tired old triangle for them. Give us a break. I don't think these new writers are going to be any better than the old. They will screw the Jerica fanbase just as Pratt and B&E did. No thanks. Y&R here I come
If these writers think a deadbeat, insufferable couple like Ryan and Greenlee are hugely popular they must be writing for the wrong show. Rylee sucks! Always have and always will.
The rest of the stuff sounds good..
I am much afraid when a new head says that what we want is Tad the Cad all over again. No, actually we don't. Too much recycling already, please stop. Keep Brooke and Jack if you must recycle. Where has Brot been this week?
I now have even lower expectations.
I have a suggestion...
They want a strong man...
Bring Back TK/ZACH SLATER....
Bring back Zendall....No one does romance like those two... They have strength, confidence, humor, sex appeal in spades...
Not interested in seeing JR tainted by PsychoAnnie...
JL/Liza is NOT catching on.... Get rid of her...
No mention of the abuser who ate Pine Valley, which scares the hell out of me..
Rylee is hugely hated...
Two HW who destoryed 2 CBS shows.... and we are supposed to be happy about this...
If they really want the show to succeed.... Get rid of the waste... Ryan, Annie, Liza, Greenlee, Marissa, Scott..
Bring Back Zendall.... Keep Brook, Jack, bring on some Cambias family members and write a decent story, character driven...
