Natalia Livingston Leaving GH
Less than a year after making her back-from-the-dead comeback, Natalia Livingston (formerly Emily Quartermaine, currently Rebecca Shaw on General Hospital) will be exiting the Port Charles scene once again.
In a statement from ABC Daytime: "We were thrilled that we were able to get Natalia back for a second run, after her Emmy winning turn as Emily Quartermaine. The character of Rebecca Shaw will soon depart the canvas and Natalia has decided to pursue other projects. A beloved member of the GH family, the entire cast and crew wish her well in all her future endeavors."
No word yet on when Rebecca will be saying her goodbyes to GH, but we can all start speculating how, right? Does she get fed up with this escalating Lucky/Elizabeth/Nikolas triangle and bounce? Does Ethan finally sweep her off her feet and take her on a globe-trotting confidence-scamming road trip? Can she please not get strangled by any undead Alcazars? Please??

I agree with you gays that think that Emily, shouldn't never leave the shw. How she died or whatever.I don't think she should have died, myself. Then she came back as her twin sister. She could have played both parts , just like on All My Children, with Adam, & him being a twin. Me personal think that cd have worked out well. And Emily being Elzabeth
best friend, & Elizabth sleeping with her best friend's man is so not right, Nikolas. That's betrayal. She should know better than that. And she "surposely so much in love with his brother Lucky". She's nasty. i don't like things like that So I think that Rebecca, should tell Lcky, bout & get with him too on top of all that. cause Nikolas, he did Rebecca wrong, so Elizebeth & Nikolas deserve each other. Elizabeth don't deserve Lucky.
THIS IS DAYTIME TV! Just because Rececca THINKS that's who she is...doesn't mean that's who she is. If the "powers-that-be" have a brain between them, they will figure that out too and bring back Emily. This is the very kind of stuff that stopped me (and MILLIONS of others) from watching Guiding Light, and look where it's at!
Natalia Livingston must not be liked by the directors or producers or someone of power, for the roll of Emile should never have been killed off. Due to fan fare they brought back Natalia as Rebbecca. Twin sister is one thing, but the way the writers wrote the story really sucked. Then of course she makes a bee line to Nickolaus. None of this was any good. Shame they killed Emile. I wish Natalia all the luck. Maybe the next time, a show will see a good thing and keep her instead of throwing her away. I cannot blame her for wanting to leave. the junk they have wrote for her is something that needs to go in the trash can.......
I am sorry that Natalie is leaving although I don't think that they should have brought her back as Rebecca. Doesn't make sense to me. Please, please bring back Greg Vaughn. Johnathan Jackson is just so young looking. Not a good match for Elizabeth or anyone else except those teenagers. I am more than happy that Claudia is gone. Could we have more hospital and less mob wars?
I really like her as Emily not Rebecca and I hope she comes back some day as Emily. They didn't give her a very good story line. I wish her well

Also, please bring back the other actor "Greg Vaughn" as Lucky (Luke 2). Jonathan Jackson is a good actor, but he has no chemistry with the current characters.

Livingston got a bad break on GH. Her character failed to develop as Emily and as Rebeca. Even when she was with Sonny she was flat. I'm thinking maybe she just can't act. She is very beautiful however.
Yes i do love Natalia also, she is an awesome actor, especially playing Emily, will miss her! Also want to comment on the new Lucky with Liz (which I know is the original Lucky) but Johnathan looks too young for Elizabeth, she has aged more than he has (mainly because girls emotionally age faster than boys).....We need the other Lucky to match Elizabeth!! Or , Yes break that coiuple up! I would personally love to see Elizabeth with Dominique!!
I am glad that she is leaving! She doesnt have much of a place since the scam of her and Ethan surfaced! She placed best as Emily and hopefully when she decided to return again in the future they will find a way to bring back Emily!!! I think Rebecca will be killed off by this long lost family member of Nicholas, the one the grandma's scared of!!!!
I am very disappointed that Natalia is being let go. The writer of GH could have done a million things with her character. Their boring story line killed the opportunity to unite Nic and Emily again. I wish Natalia luck...The storyline that had real meat to it they killed. As bad as Claudia (sara) was her character added the excitement GH had been lacking. Sara made that character the one I love to hate. Her pairing w/Sonny was the best storyline to come around in a long time. The writers again screwed it up.....Now Lucky was let go for someone who looks the ages of Michael and Christina. What is going on???? The writers have focused on the MOB and not the good people of Port Charles. These are the people who made GH as beloved as it is. Do you think someone could make Sonny pay for his crimes just once??? I've been watching GH for over 30 years...time to get new writers its getting boring.
