It's no surprise that a lot of our viewers have fond memories of watching daytime soaps with their mothers. We heard a lot of that from fans at this weekend's Soap Nation event at the Stagecoach Music Festival. In fact, just about everyone we talked to said they started watching soaps with their moms.
For example, Ali from Southern California told us she'd been watching "since I was fourteen. My mom got me hooked on 'General Hospital.'"
Kelly from Denver remembered: "My mom used to watch 'One Life' when I was like, twelve years old. I would help her fold laundry; my job was to match up the socks, and I remember this one time when I got so mad at Robin Strasser, I flipped over the laundry basket and threw my father's underwear at the television. We still laugh about it."
With Mother's Day coming, we wanted to hear more about that. Leave a message in our comments section below and tell us:
And you best not miss our special Mother's Day Marathon, "Starr Crossed Mothers" on May 10th from 3 pm-6 pm. We'll be playing three of the very best "One Life to Live" episodes featuring one of our fave mother-daughter duos, Starr and Blair.
Did you watch with your mother? Do you watch with your children now?
