More HUGE Returns for All My Children's 40th
Whoa. This is huge. Hot on the heels of the announcement that Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will be returning to All My Children to help celebrate the show's 40th anniversary, we get not one but SIX more big names that are returning for the episode. Julia Barr -- aka Brooke English, last seen in 2006. Julia played Brooke, Erica's arch rival (and ex to Tad and Adam) from 1976 through 2006.
Eva LaRue -- aka Maria Santos Grey, last seen in 2005. Maria, whose love story with Edmund Grey was epic (as was her rivalry with Erica Kane), was also linked with Zach. Eva played the role from 1993-1997, and then from 2002-2005.
Laurence Lau -- aka Greg Nelson. Greg, last seen in 2008 for BFF's Jesse and Angie's wedding, was a regular character from 1981 until 1986. Greg was the object of affection for Liza for many years.
Taylor Miller -- aka Nina Cortlandt Warner. Last seen in 1995, Taylor played perennially unlucky Nina, Palmer's daughter, from 1979-1989.
Leven Rambin -- aka Lily Montgomery, Jack's innocent, autistic daughter. Last seen in 2008, Leven played the role from 2004 through 2008.
Eden Riegel -- aka Bianca Montgomery. Erica's daughter and Kendall's sister, Bianca was a regular character from 2000-2005, with extended stints on the show since then.
We don't even know how to describe how AWESOME this is. OMG BROOKE ENGLISH! We are officially freaking out.
Look for them all to air on January 5th.

If you are bringing back Greenlee then Ryan will break free from Erica at last! Jackson should swoop in and take her for another spin! They had no good feelings left when they last spoke, but that was because he thought Erica's daughter killed Greenlee! Now, he can come back and apologize, and make it up to Erica with a "take me back romp". OMG! Brooke English is sooo missed! Please bring her back permanently!! Lily too! How about a real man for Liza, she works so hard, and has little to show for it! I can't stand what's been done to Aidan. He is so good looking, but you've made his character souless! You can't be happy by making others miserable! Everybody in PineValley has learned that one! Decide if he's good or bad! When will Tad be happy? When will Adam wake-up and see Annie for her real self? We need some new Doctors for Pine Valley Hospital, male and female to interject some new DNA into the town! Please let JR live! Can't wait to see all the new plots!
Jackson is not kaput. He will be back before the anniversary episode and will also be included in it. THANK GOD!. He will be the only reason I tune in.
Umm... why is Lily coming back?? Jackson is ka-put, who will she be there to vist? Erica??
I hope Lily comes back and tells her step-mother Erica that she is an idiot to be with scum like Ryan when she should be with her dad, Jackson. Then I want Erica to see her gorgeous Jackson, dump Ryloser, and get back with him and their family.
I want an Adam/Brooke scene. They were always one another's soulmates.

I think that Thorston has said in Interviews that He won't be Moving and He won't be Commuting. They asked the Woman that He Lives with who is Susan Haskell at the Daytime Emmys and They asked if He was Moving and She said Not without Me. She is on One Life To Live which is in New York. Thorston Told Chuck and Julie Carruthers and Brian Frons that He won't be Moving or Commuting. Jody

@bsktminnie: Thorsten Kaye has decided not to relocate to LA since his wife (Susan Haskell, "Marty" OLTL) and kids are in NY. I don't think that they're writing the character off the canvas, maybe just short-term until Alicia returns from maternity leave.
I LOVE that the old cast members are coming back. Surprised to see Eva La Rue come back. I remember that when Anna Lee died on GH, NBC wouldn't allow Vanessa Marcil to do a guest appearance for the memorial service since she was contracted to them for "Las Vegas".
I think it's going to be too much to ask that it be a well-written reunion show where we're going to be able to "catch up" with our favorite characters. I have a feeling we're going to come away let down from the experience. But I would love to know about Chuck & Donna, Emily Ann (she could throw an interesting wrench in the Jake/Amanda/David story) , Benny, Hilary, Dottie & Edna.
I can't agree more with you, Soapguy08, on ALL of your points. It would be great to see and hear all about Phoebe's family. Once Brooke comes back, the writers should make JULIA BARR STAY!!! There is opportunity -- I hope the producers/writers take advantage, as things are going to change with the relo to LA and fans need to be "enticed" to stay with the show.
