Here's the latest on the new "Beverly Hills, 90210": The cast now includes Shenae Grimes (Darcy Edwards on "Degrassi: The Next Generation"), Ryan Eggold (reporter Farber Kauffman from "Dirt"), and Jessica Walter (matriarch Lucille Bluth on "Arrested Development"). They'll join the just-announced Lori Loughlin in the CW's ever-more-anticipated spin-off of the '90s drama.
Toronto native Shenae, 18, will play Annie Mills, daughter to Lori's Celia. (That's the role Hilary Duff recently turned down.) Shenae even looks like Lori!
The Mills family moves from the Midwest to the ritzy zip code so dad Harry (yet to be cast) can care for his mom, Tabitha (portrayed by Jessica), an alcoholic former film star. Plus, he'll take a job as principal of his old high school, West Beverly. Ryan, who's also had guest spots on "Entourage" and "The Young and the Restless," will play a teacher at the school.
Other roles still to be filled include Annie's adopted brother, Dixon, and the Silver siblings, Max and Daphne. Already on board are Dustin Milligan (as jock Ethan) and AnnaLynne McCord (as the hot and popular Naomi).
If you want to see Shenae sooner, she'll be in this summer's Lifetime original movie "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet," opposite Valerie Bertinelli and Joanna "JoJo" Levesque. Shenae plays the best friend and party buddy to JoJo's title character in the flick, which airs August 9.
Which other TV stars would you like to see move to "Beverly Hills"?
