Mischa Barton is going from The Beautiful Life to the mean streets. TV Guide reports that the OC actress has been cast on an episode of Law & Order: SVU as a hooker named Gladys.

Apparently SVU executive producer Neal Baer has been tweeting cryptic message about Mischa's casting, and is thrilled to have her on the show. Since The Sixth Sense, Baer tells TV Guide, "she's gone on to do amazing work both on TV and on the stage."

Mischa's episode will air March 3rd.
