Warning "One Tree Hill" fans! Kinda-spoiler ahead!

Remember this season's cliffhanger? No, not the "is Dan dead for real this time" car crash (side note: he can't be, he's the devil). The meaning-loaded phone call a marriage-minded Lucas made to one of three girls?

Well, we doubt it was Lindsay on the other end. Because Michaela McManus, who played Lucas's book editor and former fiancee on "One Tree Hill," has been cast as a regular on "Law & Order: SVU," according to the Hollywood Reporter. Michaela will play a new assistant district attorney on the NBC crime show, faced with all kinds of ripped-from-the-headlines creepiness on a weekly basis.

The new role means less (or no?) Lindsay in Tree Hill -- a plus for Peyton fans. That is, unless, it was Brooke Luke was calling. Sigh. We don't know if we can take another Peyton/Brooke brawl.
