Where Are The Message Boards?
We've got an important announcement, gang: As of Monday, May 23rd the SOAPnet.com message boards went away. The good news: we've got another destination where your All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital conversations can continue!
We want you to be able to continue talking about All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital, and the place to do just that is on the message boards at ABC.com:

When you want to reply to a conversation thread -- or start one of your own -- you'll be prompted to log in at ABC.com. Since you've already registered at SOAPnet, just login with the user name and password you'd normally use here. You'll be asked to accept the ABC.com terms of service, and after that quick and easy process, you'll be able to get back to chatting about AMC, OLTL, and GH!

why does abc have to change more stuff and leave soapnet alone . i love soap net. to get infomration of all i need. and want soaps . but what the make a difference since they are messing up and taking away amc and oltv. can't do much good.now. blah. rasberry.
Very disappointing that you are taking away the board, but I guess it's inevitable since you are shutting down Soapnet. But wake up and smell the coffee - the majority of posters won't migrate to the ABC boards. They'll go anywhere but ABC. You're going to say goodbye to a lot of posters and a lot of eyeballs for your advertising. Sorry.
The only reason I go to ABC.com is to flood their email with complaints over their idiotic decision to cancel these shows and replace them with moronic talk shows no one wants. I have sent numerous emails making it abundantly clear that they have lost me as a viewer forever. Not that they care, but I keep telling them anyway. I will go to one of the other boards and register, talk to you all there!
Just when I thought Frons couldn't get any lower, he pulls this. "Come on over to ABC and enjoy the boards." Is he for real? What happens to Ryan's Hope posters? What happens to friendships that were made? I know changes were coming, but this is so unfair. Why doesn't he just take SN completely off the air in one felt swoop, instead of dissecting it piece by piece? At least it would be done and over with. For those of us who were loyal to RH and maybe a few other posters that I met along the way, on other message boards, take care. As for Fronz, I hope all his dreams are nightmares.
I have just registered over at soap(central) using my name here. I first looked over their rules and regulations and all seems above board to me. I hope to see you there.

this is so wrong that we lose this board. ive been on here for a long time .
Why are you taking away the message boards, I can understand it if you did it after the soaps were cancelled, but why now? that kind of stinks.
ABC can kiss it. I wouldn't waste my time going to their website. I only watch ABC for my soaps. I do not watch anytning else nor will I. I am in charge of the TV viewing in my household and believe me it is anything but ABC.
