Honestly with ABC losing Oprah, it's only natural for the entire network to be in shambles. So, what other way to tell the entire world "WE SUCK" than to cancel some of the better shows on their network. Now that they tell us all of this information, soapnet is basically saying they don't want to hear us since we're not taking this likely. If I didn't know any better I would think this network is run by a bunch of babies.

P.S. Saw the commercial for "The Chew." I'll give that show about a week before it gets cancelled.

I agree with you all. I am sick and tired of ABC and I will not be frequenting their station. I really love Fox, channel 5, channel 2 and 4. I am still praying that another station picks up the soaps and leaves 7 behind. One life to live is incredible right now. Unbelievable story line. Don't lose hope. Just my thought on the matter

What a stupid idea, getting rid of the message boards. Especially for shows that only appear on SoapNet, like Ryan's Hope.

I think they are making a big mistake....shows like they are replacing All My Children and One Life to Live never last...can they make it as long...I don't think so.

I'm with you guys i wont be watching abc after the soaps are gone . I heard the other night after watching ET that they said if Katie Curkic gets her talk show they will be taking GH off so they can put her in the time slot. They even taken some shows off at night Brothers and Sisters are cancelled too and they are taken exetreme makeover to Fridays nights and they also cancelled several other shows they are not bring back they have ruined ABC nights and days for me

It seems to Me that ABC is taking away the message board , because of Us telling them that We are really Mad that they are taking AMC, & OLTL off of the air,,and as I have said when I first heard they were going to take them off that I would block ABC from all of My T.Vs , and not watch anything on it , By Blocking them I would go to the parent control that are on most Tv, and block them there. or under channel control.

I so agree with you and can't wait to see their ratings drop after they cancel our shows. I wrote a big old comment, but I bet they won't post it, cuz I wasn't too nice....oh well, just goes to show you how they feel about us fans!! Good bye ABC!!!

ABC gave up along time ago on their fans or else they wouldn't have cancelled 2 of our shows!! They seem to FORGET that NOT everyone can watch them when they show, and thats why we have SoapNet and DVR, VCR's, etc. With people using those outlets, they DON'T get the CORRECT RATINGS, which they should have taken into consideration!! BUT NO, they just decided to cancel them and put on 2 shows that ARE COMPLETE GARBAGE!!! NO ONE will watch them, we have toooooo many other shows like that already and DON'T need 2 more!! You would think that they would care about what their fans want and also take into consideration all the people they are putting out of work also!! Give me a break ABC, open up your eyes and NOT your wallets just once!! Your wallets are already overflowing with money, more than any of us could ever imagine making!! Money doesn't buy you happiness and I know your families aren't all that happy even though you have money, it's all an act. Buy, buy, buy what you want, you sure as heck don't need it or deserve it.....shop at Walmart, Target and K-Mart like us normal people do, cuz we can buy just as nice stuff as you do but on LESS MONEY!! Think about where you came from, you weren't born into it, you worked your way up, so I know you know what it's like not having money!! KEEP OUR SOAPS AND LISTEN TO THE FANS OF THEM!!!! If they gave arats arse about what we the fans wanted to see... they'd write better storylines... NOT jump ship and cancel the shows eergh!
