Is Soapnet deliberately trying to drive away its audience? I am furious that Soapnet has cancelled "Ryan's Hope" in favor of GH episodes that date back to, what, 2006? I have awakened just before 5 a.m. every weekday for the last few years to sip my coffee and enjoy all of the stories revolving around the Ryan family and the wonderful actors who told those stories. I've set the DVR for days when I'm traveling and returned home to enjoy them. And I still have my favorite episodes stored for reviewing in the future. I know I have not been alone. And I know I'm not alone in my outrage at another ridiculous decision by those in charge at Soapnet. The same people who were foolish enough to cancel "All My Children" for a cooking show have made another insane choice. I won't ever watch "The Spew" and I predict it will be cancelled in no time at all. But now I can't even see the Ryan clan at 5 a.m., when ratings and ad revenues should be pretty irrelevant. Soapnet, and particularly the misdirected Mr. Frons, bring back RH for those of us with an appreciation and loyalty to a show that defines "classic". You need viewers. Show that you "get it" and give us back the show that set the standard for them all.

The only reason that I watch Soapnet is to see "Ryan's Hope".
I can DVR anything else that I want to see. It is apparent that Disney cares very little for the opinions and desires of the viewers. The decision to fold this network and add even MORE inane "children's progamming" is clear evidence of this. The further decision to cancel "Ryan's Hope" for the few pitiful months that are left is further proof. The viewers obviously do not matter at all, only the "plan" matters.

Why is SoapNet once again yanking us around with Ryan's Hope. I get up early and watch it EVERY morning. I'm so sick of them forcing these other shows down our throats. I only want to watch Ryan's Hope. If I want to watch the other soaps, I watch and record them on their regular channel. I only wanted to get SoapNet because this was the one place you could watch Ryan's Hope. So, goodbye SoapNet. No need for you any longer.

I couldn't believe it when I-just in passing happen-to notice that RYANS HOPE was no longer on my DVR schedule for taping. For what it is worth I could care less about OC or One Tree Hill. I never ever watched those shows and have no intention of watching them. Please put RYANs HOPE back on the schedule. Where I am it was on at 4-5AM. So it certainly wasn't taking up space from something else that was more important on the Soap Net schedule. If you want shows that need to be removed and that should be and are expendable and no one would miss them: how about the O. C. and One Tree Hill? Two hours of nothing and Beverly Hills 90210 is a show that can be removed-as it is old and stale and the acting is surely not as good as the acting in RYANS HOPE.

Here is the direct number to Disney, you actually get to talk to a real person. Plz tell them to reconsider pulling Ryan's Hope. 1-818 856-1000 Maybe if they get enough calls they will keep it on the schedule. Worth a try :-D

I just heard that Ryan's Hope may be cancelled. what a MISTAKE. You show many other soaps multiple times. Please reconsider and continue to air Ryan's Hope.

Sat, Sep 24 - 7:49 am

So to see the soaps go off the air. Is this just the state of Florida or all over? I have a hair salon and it has up set a lot of them. This is what got them threw their day. i all so taped them to see, it was the one thing that I could relax at nite . this is a big loss to all of us.

To all the fans of Ryan's Hope:

Your comments here won't be seen by the network.
All of you call 1-818-560-1000 and tell them not to cancel Ryan's Hope!

Fri, Sep 23 - 8:30 am

I am begging SoapNet to reconsider they're decision to remove Ryan's Hope from their schedule. It is the only show that I watch on your network at this time and I am very upset that you cannot find one hour in your schedule for this classic soap. Please do not take this program off of the air. After not watching it for so long, I just started watching again every episode you've aired in the past couple months. I have so enjoyed being brought back to that time, and no soaps today offer that kind of nostalgia. Also, just a suggestion, or maybe just something I really really wish you would consider is putting on The Best Soap Of All Time: Santa Barbara!!!

I don't know if you answer questions but if you do could you please explain to me and all the other fans why you feel you cannot offer this show to us any longer?
