On the premiere of SOAPnet's new series Bank of Mom and Dad, New York girl Christina gets a reality check when her parents move in, take over her finances, and attempt to put her back on the path to independence. Get to know this footloose and fancy-free French teacher before her episode airs, this Wednesday at 10PM/9c on SOAPnet!
Christina fancies herself the classic "Single Girl in the City." Life is a whirling party of overseas travel, pedicures, massages, yoga, tanning and fancy gourmet dinners against the backdrop of New York City. But Christina doesn't have the income to back up her jet-setting lifestyle. Not only does she have mounting bills, she has no health insurance because she prefers to travel. Plus, she's about to lose the car she doesn't even need to unpaid parking tickets.
Moving in with Christina are her divorced parents, Lorraine and Henri, who will live together under the same roof for the first time in years. They are shocked to discover how huge her debt is. With the help of money coach Farnoosh Torabi, they will try to make Christina face reality, on the series premiere of Bank of Mom and Dad -- this Wednesday at 10PM/9c!

We watched the program and enjoyed it a lot and were wondering about how much of her monthly income would have to go to her health insurance (not healthcare) for her preexisting knee condition.
Just another reason we should have a health care system system in our country which takes care of ALL health related problems other than electives.
Thank you for a good series.
I am my brother's keeper
I was watching The View and saw Christina's name captioned. I wondered if she may be the daughter of a girl I went to high school with. The camera then span over to her Mom, Lorraine; and my thoughts were correct! It is always nice to see a hometown friend after all these years!
Bank of Mom and Dad is a great reality show that I can relate to with my own children. Thanks for putting it out there.
