It's Adrienne Barbeau, of course! Veteran TV actress Adrienne Barbeau, who made her name as part of the seminal 1970s comedy Maude with Bea Arthur, is now recurring on General Hospital as Suzanne Stanwyck.
Adrienne got famous playing Bea Arthur's adult daughter on the groundbreaking sitcom Maude. She also won a Tony Award for originating the role of Rizzo in Grease on Broadway.
Since Maude, Adrienne has recently appeared on TV shows like The Drew Carey Show or Grey's Anatomy and had a starring role in the HBO drama Carnivale. She played Ruthie, the snake charmer with secrets! (Everybody had secrets on that show, but still.)
Where else might you have seen Adrienne? She starred in a slew of movies directed by her then-husband John Carpenter, including The Fog and Escape from New York. She also appeared in movies like Cannonball Run, Swamp Thing, and Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death? Is that not the greatest title of anything ever?
Look for Suzanne to make it to Port Charles when Brenda does, so you can enjoy more of her in the weeks to come.
