Matthew Buchanan 101

Given everything he's been through, it's shocking Matthew's not in jail.

We'd argue that there are few characters who've suffered more trauma at such a young age than Matthew Buchanan on "One Life to Live." Seriously -- this kid has every reason in the world to be a total basket case. Yet he's actually a really sweet and normal teen. OK, so he's getting mired in the world of peer pressure, and recently got caught with drugs in order to impress a girl. Given what he's been through, shouldn't Bo and Nora be glad he doesn't run a crack den?

 

It's our belief that people with childhoods like Matthew's often end up being Doctors Without Borders or psychopaths like the BTK Killer. We're not sure which way he'll go yet.

He would never become a serial killer hes to much of a sweet heart and there are people with the most of normal lives that become serial killers someones bad childhood is no reason to become a killer and i don't see him leading that path.

Please do not have Matthew as as a serial killer. He is a good kid , I know you want the story line to be interesting to the viewers. But please, someone has to end being good, look@ everone else, drunks, adulterys,thieves, killers. And please
let someone marry and grow old together, to much divorce,
or you all are killing off the husband. Jared should have never
died. Neither should have Stacy, can you bring her back? She was a demon , but she was a good actress. I see you all or working on Cole and Starr, I guess they will be the next breakups. Come on now writer, please.

why in the world did nora marry clint when she obviously loves bo. i know she didn't want to hurt clint but how much more in the family did she have to be. she was married to bo and they have son together. now the uncle is the stepdad. really, really. i think it was a stupid move. and lame-o rex needs to wise up to trampy stacy

I hope Matthew wins his case and has the surgery. I also hope he will be able to walk again. As close as he is to both his parents, I feel like they will stay close. This has been a very good story. I just hope it ends with Matthew walking again. two thumbs up from me.....
