Married By Convenience
Some of our favorite stories on soaps are the big, lavish, romantic weddings. Everybody loves a wedding, right? And yes, it's best to marry for love. But sometimes it's nice to marry so you can inherit a trust fund or escape prosecution or get custody of your children. Sometimes, marriage just makes good business sense.
This week on General Hospital, Jason and Brenda are reminding us that while yes, marriage can make good business sense, a marriage of convenience can also have its headaches. Still, they make for great daytime drama.

I enjoyed yesterdays episode. I like the way that they are having Jason finally see that Brenda is not just a spoiled brat. He is finally seeing the other side of Brenda that Jax and Sonny love about her. However, I don't want them to get together because I love Sam and Jason. I hope Sam will not get too jealous of Brenda becuase she is just as exciting and beautiful.
I don't like that a lot of people are thinking that Jason and Brenda would make a good couple. I don't think they could ever been anything more than just friends/enemies.
Brenda belongs with either Sonny or Jax! Jason belongs with Robin and visa versa. I would love to see a Fabfour reunion.
At least it isn't Brenda and Sonny!!!!! Just about every time Sonny comes on screen now I either change the channel or get up and leave the room. He's no longer the charming, charismatic Mob Boss of old. Having one story line about Robin & Patrick, although turning into a good one, does not keep the show from always being about Sonny and Fam. Carly would make a better Mob Boss! Would love to see her take over!
No Robert & Holly? Marriage of convenience = Supercouple, they should have been #1!
Where is Robert & Holly Scorpio in this list? The only GH supercouple that started as a MOC and you leave them out? You disappoint me SoapNet.
Wow---how do you do a list of marriages of convenience and leave off THE most successful one of all---Robert and Holly Scorpio ? They are one of the biggest Supercouples in Daytime history and their marriage of convenience not only turned into a marriage of the deepest love but it was a ratings bonanza as well. HUGE oversight, Soapnet !
I'm surprised you didn't list one of Soaps' Biggest Supercouple: Robert & Holly. :(
