The new "Melrose Place" is populating itself with the previous series's troublemakers. Just a day after news broke that Laura Leighton's Sydney Andrews would be rising from the dead to play landlady to a new crop of "Melrose" inhabitants, Entertainment Weekly confirms reports that her one-time brother-in-law (and lover) Dr. Michael Mancini (played by Thomas Calabro) will be back in a recurring role as well.
The casting means we're just a Marcia Cross as the ghost of Dr. Kimberly Shaw away from reuniting the "Melrose" triumvirate of evil. Reconsider, Marcia!
Calabro starred on the original "Melrose Place" for its entire seven-season run. Recently he popped up on "Greek" as Rebecca's senator dad.
Do you think Michael and Sydney should be together on the new "MP"?
