Malcolm's Coming Back to Genoa City
As if the unveiling of her husband's true identity, being diagnosed with cancer, the death of her best friend, and dealing with the difficulties of surrogacy weren't enough drama to handle ... Lily's real dad is coming back to Genoa City!
Entertainment Weekly reports that Malcolm Winters -- Neil's brother, and Lily's biological father -- will return to The Young and the Restless on December 29th. But it won't be now-Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore reprising the role. Taking his place? One-time Family Matters child star Darius McCrary. According to EW, Darius has signed a multi-year deal, and began filming today.
The show's head writer, Maria Bell, said in a statement: "We are thrilled to have the character of Malcolm back on Y&R. Malcolm, Neil Winters' brother, has always been a catalyst to exciting stories. He's coming back to town to see his brother and to reunite with his biological daughter, Lily Winters, as she fights for her life. Malcolm is a photographer ... someone who lives on the edge and who always pushes the envelope."
Ooh! We like that last line -- whose "envelope" do you think Malcolm will be pushing when he returns?

i do not know this actor that is taking Malcoms place but will watch and see how he does. i do miss shermar playing Malcom on Young and Restless. I love him in Crimminal Minds alot!! I to wish they would bring back Victory Rowell soon. That is if she does not have other committment she is working on these days????? Lily needs her alot! Wait and see what happens and where is Drucila's sister the dr. while Lily is going through all the kemo and cancer treatments. I think Sharon should move on. Nick is with Phylis and I like them together, personally. Sharon needs to find someone else besides Adam. There has to be someone for Sharon, just not Nick, maybe Jack.
With all the horrible things Adam has done, he needs to be exposed for the awful person he is. Writers wake up. No one can get away with as much dirt as Adam has done and not be exposed.
I think that Nick and Sharon should be together with their child before Sharon becomes the whore of the show. How many brothers are she going to sleep with? Whose next Victor? I believe she has a sex addiction. Now there's a storyline. Now Darius has no business playing Malcolm. If you want someone to play Malcolm I have the perfect person, Matt Hayes. People loved Malcom because he was cute , this new charactor is so not a match for soap s I have nothing against him but I don't c him fitting in, and pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee stop the Sharron and Adam nonesense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
