If you've ever dreamt of having a nice little sit-down nosh with one of your favorite Daytime stars, now's your chance -- and it's all in the name of a good cause.
The True Colors Fund, founded by '80s pop holdover and activist Cyndi Lauper, is having a summer online auction to help support the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered community. Items open to bidding include memorabilia and special celebrity events -- like a lunch date with "Guiding Light"'s Reva Shayne: Kim Zimmer!
Along with an afternoon of gossip with the unofficial queen of Springfield, also up for bid is a chance to meet Bette Midler and see her show in Vegas, attend designer Nicole Miller's Spring 2010 fashion show, and two VIP tickets to meet Lady Gaga and see her perform (pants optional, of course).
"I'm excited to launch the True Colors Fund Summer Online Auction," said Cyndi, "All of the proceeds will go to directly support the True Colors Fund's work to get everyone, especially my fellow straight allies, to do what they can to help make equality a reality for the GLBT community."
