Should John stay with seven-time divorcee Blair, or go back to amnesiac Marty now that she's returned from the dead?

John McBain. Llanview's leading ladies just can't get enough of him. First there was Caitlin (who we never saw, but he talked about her enough) then Natalie, then Evangeline, followed by Marty, and now Blair. He's a stud, that's for sure, but whom should he head out to pasture with? We can make an argument for both, but we really want to know what you think.

Pros and Cons of Blair

Blair's taste in men has leaned, shall we say, toward the unhinged. This is perhaps most evident in her long history with Llanview's most damaged bachelor, Todd Manning. (Check out our consideration of him here.) She's been married to him five times. Granted, she didn't know she was marrying Todd at least one of those times, but even so, she still re-married him knowingly as recently as last year. When she's not busy cleaning up his messes, she likes to jump into bed with murderers like Spencer Truman. What's with the death wish, honey?

So, considering her history, John is a rock of sanity and morality. And we like Blair. A lot. She comes from Cramer stock and we here at Soapnet HQ are big fans of anything Cramer. But mostly, we think John's good for her because he probably isn't going to get himself raped by Margaret or any other maniacs in the near future and Blair could use a calming influence in her life as she attends to her children. And when Starr inevitably ends up charged with a capitol crime (like father, like daughter) it would be nice to have a man like John on the inside of law enforcement.
