Puddle of Pine Valley, meet ripple effect Liza Colby.

Liza Colby, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways. Let's see: She was part of one of "All My Children"'s most awesome stories, when Tad was sleeping with both Liza AND her mother; she's tough enough to take on Adam AND Erica; she was a lot of executive realness; and she's essentially tied to almost every character, thanks to a long history on the show.

When last seen in 2005, Liza had fled Pine Valley with then five-year-old Colby (my, how kids grow up fast!) to keep her away from toxic daddy Adam. She was on the run for years, meaning Adam had no contact with his little girl. When Colby returned to town (now a teenager) to reconnect with her dad, we learned she and Liza were on the outs. During this time, Liza also went to law school and got hot ginger hair.
