Lindsay Hartley to All My Children
Not long after she was let go by Days of our Lives, Lindsay Hartley has now been swept up into the Pine Valley mix. Lindsay has been cast in the contract role of Cara Finn on All My Children, and she will make her debut on December 8th.
Lindsay has played Arianna Hernandez on Days since her debut last year. Before that, she spent nine years as Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on the NBC soap Passions.
But that's not all! Jordi Vilasuso -- aka Tony Santos from Guiding Light -- has also been signed to a contract role. Jordi will play Griffin Castillo, starting November 15th. Both Cara and Griffin will be introduced through an upcoming storyline with Jake and Amanda.
Any guesses about how these two will fit into Jake and Amanda's lives?

I love Lindsay Hartley as well, I think she will be a terrific addition to AMC, and let's face it, folks. As much as we all LOVE Jake and Amanda, their relationship has become a bit stale as of late, I guess it's true what they say happens to you once you get married on a soap, you go to the land where boredom reigns. So, maybe they'll be another doctor and spouse friend, or maybe Amanda will meet Cara through daycare or something, whatever it is....it can't hurt at this point!
I agree w/ you Jake & Amanda have become quite boring these days. They both need a lil pep in their step!
I am not familiar with either Lindsay Hartley or Jordi Vilasuso but I am sure either will be an asset to AMC. If it includes a storyline with the characters Jake and Amanda -they really need a boost especially Amanda. There is just way too much smooching going on with the two of them -where is their little boy most of the -hope he has a sitter? Jake did well with the Angie story line but he does need to get a haircut and shave -really not doctor material looking that unkempt.
Yes I love Lindsay Hartley. She was the reason I watch Passions until their move to DirectV. The reason why I watch Days and now why I will watch AMC more frequently.
I love Lindsay. I'm glad she has a new show. But I hope they're not going to make too much trouble for Jake and Amanda. Does anyone else think there's a connection between Linday's Cara Finn and Jake's ex-wife Carolyn Finn??
I always had a feeling that Lindsay Hartley would wind up on AMC...I just wish she was a recast Anita or Rosa Santos...it would be nice to see that family represented again.
Oh this is exciting! I love Lindsay Hartley! I am going to have to start watching AMC on a regular basis now :) However, I really hope it is not to mess with Amanda and Jake.
