Where Kelly goes, will Lindsay follow?

Fans of Kelly Monaco and her "General Hospital" character Sam McCall may already know that Kelly is starring in the Las Vegas burlesque production "Peepshow." But might Lindsay Lohan be looking to follow in Kelly's footsteps?

Lindsay was in Vegas over the weekend for the "Peepshow" grand opening. Kelly and fellow "Dancing with the Stars" vet Mel B (who was totally robbed of the DWTS crown, we must note) star in the sexy new show, directed by Broadway superstar -- and burgeoning TV presence -- Jerry Mitchell ("Legally Blonde"; "Step It Up and Dance").

But Fox News reports that once Kelly's three-month contract is finished -- and she gets back to work on "GH" -- Lindsay may decide to step into the showgirl spotlight. She took a meeting with Mitchell and was overheard saying she'd do the show if the money was right.

Lindsay's been having trouble finding good movie roles lately -- she's blamed the media and crazy fans for the lack of good offers -- and "Peepshow" could get the focus put back on Lindsay the performer. But we can't pretend we think setting up shop in Vegas full-time wouldn't be crazy risky for our notorious party girl. We don't like how she appears to be inching closer and closer to becoming her character from "I Know Who Killed Me."
