Through four seasons of "The Hills," Lauren Conrad has certainly seen her share of bad boyfriends. Both her own (hey Jason -- been arrested lately?) and those of her friends. ESPECIALLY those of her friends. You might say all the major drama on "The Hills" has gone down because Lauren couldn't keep quiet about her friends' bad boyfriends.

But now, Lauren's using her ability to ward off scummy dudes for the good of everyone. Profits from the sales of her beauty and accessories line for Avon will go towards combating "the cycle of dating abuse and violence."

In addition, Lauren says she'll co-chair a panel that will select the charity organizations that the money will go to. We're pretty sure the rest of the panel will make sure it doesn't all go to the "Save Heidi Montag from Herself" fund.

Kidding aside, it's great to see Lauren pitching in for such a worthy cause. Next up: commissioning a study to find out why Lo keeps making that face at people.
