Lauren Conrad Talks Back to Us

Lauren Conrad is ticked!

The star of "The Hills" recently posted on her MySpace page to clear up some stuff about her feelings for best friend Audrina Patridge and ex-BF Brody Jenner. Conrad was on the cover of Us Weekly last week to promote the new season -- and she wasn't too thrilled with parts of the article.

Lauren posted: "Hey! I just wanted to take a moment to clear something up. I recently did an interview to talk about the show coming back on and what everyone had to look forward to. Unfortunately it was turned into yet another 'poor me' story. The article itself is a nice one but it follows headlines that, in no way, represent my words or feelings. I do not feel betrayed by Audrina or Brody. I love them both and said nothing to contradict this. I understand that headlines sell magazines, but I value my friendships above magazine sales any day."

She also wrote: "On a more positive note, I got to see some of the first episode yesterday and it looks amazing."

What did Us print that bugged LC so much? Quotes like "Audrina has to remind me that she's not someone who's going to betray me." And, on Brody, "When you have that type of thing, you always have to question, 'Why wasn't I good enough?'" We're guessing that the article's headline -- "Betrayed by Brody & Audrina: How I Was Stabbed in the Back" -- didn't help.

Is LC too sensitive, or did Us Weekly go too far?
