Kim Zimmer Comes to One Life to Live
Huge news! Kim Zimmer, best known for her portrayal of fiery, impulsive drama addict Reva Shayne on Guiding Light, is coming to One Life to Live! Kim will reprise her role of superstar photographer Echo DiSavoy this fall. For those that need a memory refresh, Kim played Echo on One Life in 1983. Echo stirred the pot by having an affair with Viki's then husband, Clint -- so you can definitely expect her to play a big role in Viki and Clint's lives upon her return.
Kim is a multiple Emmy winner for Outstanding Lead Actress -- she's received four statuettes for her work at Guiding Light. Her resume is impressive; she's appeared on Santa Barbara, The Doctors, Babylon 5, Seinfeld, Designing Women, MacGyver, Models, Inc, and in the film Body Heat. And did you know that she had ANOTHER OLTL stint prior to her 1983 run as Echo? In 1978, she played Bonnie Harmon.

That character was totally awful the first time thro town. I really can't see any reason to re-visit it other than to give Kim Zimmer a job. What a sad commentary on daytime. It is certainly taking a lot of hits lately.

It's refreshing to know that those in charge of OLTL have opted for talent in their hiring practices instead of just pretty, young bodies (not that there is anything wrong with that). I thoroughly enjoy the acting on this show and the vets are the best! Tia please come back!
I remember all the trouble Echo Di Savoy brought to Llanview and to Viki and Clint, in particular. I loved Kim Zimmer when she was on, and although I never watched GL, I know she is a highly respected actress and will bring a LOT of much needed zip to my beloved show. Just PLEASE don't bring an illegitimate kid (Clint's) with her...are you LISTENING writers??? And would somebody PLEASE rescue Tea, I don't want this actress to leave the show!!!
Yes, that would be even better,to pair up Josh & Kim again...Guiding List was my favorite show, and it should have never been axed..
