With word that "Melrose Place" is next in line at the CW for a "90210"-esque update, fans are wondering which of the show's original stars will go the Jennie Garth route and return. And the first bit of news? Kelly "Megan Mancini" Rutherford would do it. Maybe.
The actress, who currently plays Lily van der Woodsen on "Gossip Girl," joked with Us Weekly about the gig, saying she'd be in "If they offered me a lot of money!" Considering it further, she added "I don't know, maybe, as a guest spot ... It would really depend, I think, on the script and how they would want me to come back."
Meanwhile, she said her current job "seems to be going well." She revealed that they just filmed the show's death scene (who's it going to be?) and while it was "really sad ... it spins the show in a really cool direction, and you see a lot of emotions in everybody. It bonds everybody in a very different way."
Who from the old cast do you think the new "Melrose Place" absolutely needs to be successful?
