Drugs are not glamorous. But they are captivating, especially when we're watching our favorite characters struggling with addiction. Oftentimes it's just a run-of-the-mill prescription med problem which is totally a gateway drug for aristocratic ladies of leisure who find waiting 'til noon for a mai tai too hard.

That's sort of where Cole, from "One Life to Live," is right now -- numbing his aching soul with downers. In fact, a bunch of the kids are getting high at "One Life" so to celebrate this newest storyline we've gathered together a slideshow of some of our favorite junkies.

Some shows really go for the gold like "Beverly Hills, 90210" wherein just about every character wrestled with some sort of demon drug. But everything from "The Sopranos" to "Will and Grace" have druggies, too.

And, of course, there's daytime. We've got folk from "As the World Turns," "All My Children," "General Hospital," and more. We're not even touching daytime alcoholics because basically

we'd be here until next Tuesday.
